We loved our stay at Campfire Cottage. It was a wonderful retreat after busy days at Dreams Park. The lake view is beautiful both morning and evening and it was nice to have the canoe to paddle around the lake. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy a week's stay. We would recommend this location to others looking for a quiet place to stay during their Cooperstown week.

This cottage is on a really nice lake and only a short drive to Dreams Park (huge bonus: Cooperstown Brewing and Brewery Ommegang are right on the way!). It was very private and when we did run into neighbors they were very nice. It was excellent being able to grill/cook our own meals and the grocery is 30 seconds from Dreams Park. Highly recommend this place for baseball families.

We stayed at Campfire Cottage during week 11 - August 12-19. There were 4 in our party including my husband and me, our 10 year old son and his friend. The cottage was a great size for us and we absolutely loved the pond. The boys used the fishing equipment daily in between games and I bought floats to swim with since the water was so shallow. We went on a canoe ride a round the pond. The amenities at the cabin were great. We didn't need a thing. The air conditioning was a welcome surprise as it was super hot and humid the week we were there.

Week of relaxation and fun!

Campfire Cottage is a quaint cabin on Crumhorn lake. The cabin is only 50 feet from the waters edge. There is a rowboat and canoe. My husband loved standing on the floating pier and attempted to catch fish. He only caught two small sunfish but loved trying. It is a very quiet and peaceful setting. We had a campfire by the water's edge and roasted marshmallows. The view from the cabin is beautiful. We would stay again and we will for sure visit Cooperstown again. It is a special and scenic area.

This was our 2nd year staying at the Campfire cottage. There were a few improvements made since the prior year(deck railing, new boat). We love the Campfire Cottage mainly for the quiet lake and the privacy of the yard. The house is small, but just the right size for us. The double bed is very comfortable and you can't beat the wake up view. If we had more baseball players in the family we would definitely be back.
